01

Website operator and acceptance

This website is operated by Certiqual Limited, Company Registration No. C 86412, VAT No. MT 2566 5405, with registered office at Level 2, The Forum, Triq il-Kostituzzjoni, Mosta MST 9051, Malta.

By using the website, users agree to these terms and to any specific conditions presented for an application, membership, qualification, CPD activity or consultancy service.

02

Nature of Certiqual decisions

Certiqual operates an independent private quality framework for language education and assessment. Unless an official record expressly states otherwise, a Certiqual accreditation or Certi Mark is not a government licence, statutory authorisation or public-regulatory accreditation.

Every decision is limited to the legal entity, named examination, sites, languages, levels, modes, standard version, validity period and exclusions stated in its published scope.

03

Public Register

The current status and full scope in the official Public Register prevail over certificates, copied records, logos, screenshots, cached pages and third-party claims.

Users must not omit exclusions, alter a public record or present membership, a professional credential or consultancy as if it were an accreditation or Certi Mark.

04

Applications and services

Eligibility review, application, training, membership and consultancy do not guarantee a positive assessment or recognition decision. Advisory work is kept separate from audit and decision making.

Specific commercial terms, fees, evidence requirements, deadlines, cancellation rules and scheme conditions are communicated separately where a service is requested.

05

Intellectual property and marks

The Certiqual name, logo, Certi Marks, membership badges, standards, certificates, page design and original materials are owned by or licensed to Certiqual Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules.

Marks and badges may be used only by authorised parties, in their approved form, while the relevant status remains valid and strictly within the published scope and Use of Marks policy.

06

Acceptable use

Users must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful or misleading content, impersonate another person or organisation, misuse verification codes or use Certiqual information to support a false or exaggerated quality claim.

07

Accuracy, availability and liability

Certiqual takes reasonable steps to keep public information accurate and current but may correct, suspend, replace or withdraw content and records when evidence or status changes. Temporary interruptions or technical errors may occur.

To the extent permitted by law, Certiqual is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorised copies, third-party misrepresentation, use outside the published scope or reliance on superseded information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

08

External links

Links to third-party websites are provided for context or convenience. Their content, availability and privacy practices remain the responsibility of the relevant third party.

09

Changes and governing law

Certiqual may update these terms when services, standards or legal requirements change. The current version is the one published on this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The competent courts of Malta have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights or forum available under applicable law.
